Ms Aditi Bhowmick, Director (India), Development Data Lab (DDL)
Aditi is currently serving as Director (India) for Development Data Lab (DDL) – an organization committed to transforming the breadth and depth of open data in developing countries, and specifically, India. DDL is about a year old and has been creating valuable open data products in the Indian development policy landscape. In Aditi’s current role, she is helping the organization grow in India, forging partnerships across government and civil society on behalf of DDL to identify exciting projects for DDL to take up.
Prior to her current role, Aditi was pursuing a Masters in Public Policy, with a focus on Economic policy, at Princeton’s School of Public & International Affairs. She has worked with the governments of Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu to implement large-scale evaluations of government-led education and early childhood development programs. Aditi grew up across Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Orissa – and is happiest when doing field research related to gender economics in India.
