Diplomacy, foreign policy, and geopolitics are critical pillars that shape the interactions between nations. In an increasingly interconnected world, understanding these concepts is vital for navigating the complexities of international relations. This fellowship comes at a crucial time as global power structures evolve, alliances shift, and nations, including India, confront significant strategic challenges. As India positions itself as a key player on the world stage, it is imperative for the next generation of leaders to be well-versed in these areas to contribute meaningfully to global discourse and decision-making. A key feature of the DFPGYF is the unparalleled opportunity for fellows to interact with experts, policymakers, and practitioners from across the globe. These interactions are designed to provide firsthand insights into the real-world applications of diplomacy, foreign policy, and geopolitics. Additionally, the fellowship offers a unique platform for participants to contribute as individual chapter authors in a special edition of IMPRI Books. This opportunity allows fellows to engage deeply with pressing global issues, fostering intellectual growth and enabling impactful contributions to the field.
