For queries, write to: learningatimpri@gmail.com About Health and gender have had a long and complicated history, with many elements impacting how people of different genders have understood and experienced health. Gender equality has been shown to positively impact health outcomes, both for individuals and for communities as a whole. When the healthcare workforce is diverse, it drives innovation and ensures that healthcare services are culturally responsive and inclusive. Today, the intersection of health and gender remains an important area of inquiry and advocacy. On the one hand, researchers continue to explore the ways in which gender influences health outcomes, and policymakers work to ensure that healthcare systems are responsive to the needs of individuals of all genders. On the other, researchers are still investigating how gender affects health outcomes, and legislators are working to make sure that healthcare systems can accommodate patients of all genders. Activists, institutions and organizations continue to press for the development of more inclusive and equitable healthcare systems as well as for a deeper understanding of gender as a crucial aspect of health and well-being. Aligning with the same motive, IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi, is conducting a Four Day Certificate Training Course on a wide range of well-curated topics in August 2023. The resource persons who have been chosen have great experience gained in the field along with expertise. The course will aim to deliver the interplay of research, policies, impact, activism and future developments towards the intersection of gender and healthcare.
