The Public Policy Youth Fellowship (PPYF) is an immersive online certificate training program designed to introduce young learners to the fundamentals of public policy, governance, and development practice. The fellowship aims to build a strong foundation in understanding how policies are formulated, implemented, and evaluated in real-world contexts. Through expert-led sessions, interactive discussions, and practical exercises, participants gain clarity on key policy concepts, institutional structures, and the role of evidence in shaping effective governance. Going beyond theoretical learning, PPYF emphasizes applied understanding and hands-on engagement. Fellows explore contemporary public issues, develop essential analytical and communication skills, and participate in the Fellowship Policy Project—a structured policy brief exercise that helps them identify gaps in existing policies and propose actionable recommendations. With a focus on youth empowerment, critical thinking, and policy-oriented problem-solving, the fellowship equips emerging leaders to meaningfully engage with public issues and contribute to more informed, inclusive, and accountable governance.
