From infrastructural inadequacies to issues of sustainable housing and transport, governance deficits, financial fragility, weak local capacity, informality, inequality, and the imperative of climate resilience and adaptation, the course provided a comprehensive exploration of critical urban issues. The success of the inaugural cohort was evident in the positive feedback and accomplishments of our participants, who have since been actively contributing to the field.
