Ms Sangeeta Rege is Visiting Senior Fellow at IMPRI. Sangeeta is currently the Director of CEHAT. She has UG degree in psychology, PG in social work and is currently a PHD scholar. Her areas of interest include gender, gender-based violence, medical education and psycho social interventions. She has been engaged in training, research and advocacy and has also been writing extensively on the subject matter. Sangeeta played a key role in the development and implementation of a comprehensive health care response to sexual violence and led CEHAT’s petition for demanding gender sensitive health care for rape survivors. Sangeeta has also played an instrumental role in forging collaborations in different States for health systems response to VAW.
