Dr Donthi Narasimha Reddy is Visiting Senior Fellow at IMPRI. Dr Narasimha Reddy Donthi has been a passionate international campaigner on climate crisis, ecology and environment. He was a Board member of IFOAM-Asia (international organization), Member of a Cotton Advisory Board Committee and Advisory Council, of Textile Exchange (a global non-profit). He is also on Steering Council of International Campaign on Golden Rice. He contributed to public discourse and policy changes in sectors, including electricity, seed, rice, cotton, sugarcane, sericulture, handloom and textiles, land and water. His work has been multi-disciplinary, including agriculture, textiles, water, urban development and other areas of policy work. He built campaigns, advocacy programmes and policy change projects. He is a well-read author and public speaker too. He guides youth, students and volunteers on their activities, including Ph.D and other research activities.
