Financial planning is the process of creating a roadmap for your financial future. It involves setting financial goals, analysing your current financial situation, and developing a plan to achieve those goals. Financial planning covers various areas of financial goal setting, such as budgeting, saving and investing, financial risk, borrowing and credit, and financial management for retirement, estate, tax, and insurance planning.
Various data techniques will be used in order to guide you on how to invest in the financial market and what type of financial products you should invest in that will be conditional upon your target, age, wealth, and any existing debt you may already have. With respect to the current market situation, Crypto is considered the future of financial investment, so a glimpse of the Crypto Market will be covered in the workshop along with Government securities denominated in Sovereign Gold Bonds (SGBs), Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs), Stock Market Trading and Mutual Funds Investments. Policies related to financial planning that can help optimise working capital financing for a business, such as hedging, aggressive, and conservative, as per the risk levels involved, will be the spotlight for this workshop.
The workshop will give an overview of ideas, methods, and various tools used to manage risk and foster individual and enterprise growth. Furthermore, a description of multiple practices that are in use and analysis techniques for sustainable investments and risk coverage in capital markets that are used to achieve financial goals. The workshop is structured in order to help you understand the basics of investment, including the various types of investments available and the different financial markets that will cover different types of stocks, bonds, and real estate. This workshop will also help in understanding the process of framing objectives, policies, procedures, programs, and budgets regarding financial activities that will lead to an increase in finances in the future.

Prof Nilanjan Banik, Visiting Consultant, IMPRI, New Delhi; Professor and Program Director (BA, Economics, and Finance), Mahindra University, Hyderabad. He is also an Academic Consultant with Geneva Network, United Kingdom; a Senior Consultant with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, South Korea; and a Visiting Consultant with IMPRI. She managed an Asset monetization portfolio as a category manager at OYO and is an alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), Delhi University, and Vedica Scholars.
Mr Biju E Punnachalil, Chief Risk Officer, South Indian Bank, with over three decades of experience in the banking industry. Over the years, he has handled various senior management roles in a diverse range of functions, including investment management, risk management, international banking, fund management and general banking. He has a Master’s degree from Mahatma Gandhi University and is recognized as a Certified Financial Planner by the Financial Planning Standards Board.
