Prof Manoj Parmar is Visiting Professor at IMPRI. His academic interests include theoretical writing on Architecture and Urbanism. He has been in private practice of architecture, urban design since 1992. He has worked on numerous private and public housing/ institutional commissions across the country. His work was discussed at UDRI and CEPT Ahmadabad. He has contributed chapter writing (co-author) on “Unraveling Redevelopment” in book “Trends & Issues in Housing in Asia” published by Routledge, UK. He has co-authored two books. “Smart City in India, Laboratory, Trajectory or Paradigm” & “Resilience Paradigm and Southern Urbanism, and recently launched book titled “Negotiating Resilience with Hard and Soft Cities” published by Routledge UK. He has delivered talk at University of Cambridge, Northumbria University, University of Nottingham & Kingston University – UK, Massachusetts Institute of Technology & University of Texas – USA
