Research Methodology: Theory & Practice
An Online and Interactive Three-Week Certificate Course for Working Professionals & Students
About the Course
The ever-growing need, zettabytes, types and complexities of data collection and interpretation has been surging demand for data analytics & scientists job positions. To add to the complexities, COVID-19 situation has forced the conventional research approaches to change. There is a lack of understanding about the Right Research Methods in general and such specific situations.
What does “data science” mean? What are different research methods and how information can be triangulated? How and using what tools can give the best result? Why ‘interpretations’ of data matters? Can we use different methods & tools especially in this pandemic situation? In an effort to answer all these questions and create the most effective, time-efficient, reliable and structured analysis, and interpretation and presentation, we offer The Research Methodology Course 2020.
We believe this is the first training program which offers all the necessary concepts and resources in one place. The course is in online interactive mode where students will be encouraged to participate with hands-on sessions and group presentations.
The aim of this Three Week Certificate Course is to promote and emphasize the utilization of scientific tools and techniques, methods of online data collection, secondary data analysis and working with simulated data for conducting high-quality research, which would thereby facilitate and improve the research vigour of institutions of corporate houses as well as of the policy practitioners.
The course will give you a comprehensive look at all the relevant approaches and where they fit in the realm of research. This interactive course is beyond the ‘know-how’ aspect with focus on ‘do now and do how’.
IMPRI, a startup research think tank, is a platform for pro-active, independent, non-partisan and policy-based research.

Expert lectures would comprise around 5 hours of the engagement, providing an opportunity to learn from and interact with luminaries in the field of research methodology and analytics.
