The talk would explore the following questions:
1. How happiness and wellbeing is linked to the Built Environment ( The intangibles- social, cultural, comfort and the Tangibles – economics) – Lessons from Bhutan.
2. Lessons from the Pandemic and how it affected the design and build Industry (changes in spatial requirement, design approaches, HVAC issues, WASH facilities etc)
3. The need to design better spaces (thermally comfortable, daylight, social aspects, culture aspects, connected) to ensure physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
