Mr Biplab is a globally acclaimed development professional with more than 27 years of grassroots experience within inclusive development cutting across Indian states, Asia and Africa. He is the founder-director of Social enterprise Naireeta Services and the non-profit agency Sustainable Green Initiatives Forum (SGIF). His innovation BHUNGROO is enabling farmers to save their crops from drought and flood. To date more than 1 lakh rural poor have experienced doubling of Agri income and earned social dignity through BHUNGROO. Currently, he is helping Engineering, Agriculture, and Management students to use his technology in open source for rural poor and make India freed from farmer’s suicides.
He is member of Board of Directors of Gujarat government’s Gujarat Ecology Commission and also Jury and Mentor of IIT Kanpur’s incubation centre. He is recipient of series of Global awards and also one of the 50 Gold Star awardees by US Government from across the globe top scholars.
