Post-Doctoral Researcher, Department of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam; Candidate Fellow, Tinbergen Institute, The Netherlands

Dr Rubén Poblete-Cazenave is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is affiliated to the Erasmus Center for Economic and Financial Governance and is also a candidate Fellow at the Tinbergen Institute.

He works on topics at the intersection of Political Economy, Development Economics, and Law & Economics. He uses a theoretical and empirical approach to study questions on unethical behavior, corruption, abuse of power, discrimination, crime, and also elections.
He obtained his PhD in Economics at University College London.
