Founder and Director of Swayam a feminist organisation committed to advancing women’s rights, facilitating women’s empowerment and ending violence against women. Ashoka Fellow, Eisenhower Fellow, was a member of the civil society advisory board for UN women for their India and multi-country office in India, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bhutan. Anuradha is an activist, trainer and consultant for women and human rights organizations, academic institutions and UN agencies and has co-authored articles, research and manuals on the issue of violence against women. She is actively involved in advocacy on women’s rights in India and abroad.

Audrey D’Mello
Director, Majlis Legal Centre, Mumbai
Audrey D’Mello has been working at Majlis since 2006. She is currently the Director. She has a degree in law from Bombay University and a post-graduate degree in management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).
She heads Majlis’ comprehensive programme on Gender and Law that involves legal representation and social support of women and children in cases of sexual and domestic violence, legal rights training, and campaigns for policy-level interventions with a specific focus is to help marginalised women and children access justice. She has helped evolve a number of collaborations with the government to ensure the effective implementation of laws.
Her other interests are writing research and raising her three wonderful children.

Sanchita Ain
Partner, ASV Legal; Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India
Sanchita Ain is an Advocate-on-Record in the Supreme Court of India and Partner at ASV Legal. With an experience of over a decade in the field of law, she has handled complex matters before the Supreme Court, High Courts, and other forums in the country. These include landmark constitutional law cases like linking of PAN with Aadhaar, triple talaq, 2G spectrum case, affirmative action, rights of minority institutions and land acquisition cases. She holds the prestigious LLM degree in International Human Rights Law with distinction from the University of Essex. While at Essex, she worked on a project for Essex Human Rights Clinic and Open Society Justice Initiative.
Sanchita is also an I Can Lead Fellow, India’s first national leadership programme for women with disabilities. She is frequently invited to deliver lectures and judge competitions by renowned universities. Sanchita has also developed a course on Supreme Court practice for a leading online legal education platform, and through webinars, workshops, and live classes, she has been training students and professionals who want to develop a practice in the Supreme Court.
