Media Practitioner; Researcher and Academician, Media Studies
Ms Anita Parihar has been a researcher, media practitioner, academician, and senior visiting lecturer for media studies for university students cumulatively for 34 years. She has worked in India, as well as in the UK as a British Council Scholar, for which she was selected twice consecutively in 1988-89.
Her current research is in the areas of development of sustainable live and TV productions with cutting carbon footprint towards positive climate change, building cloud media workflow constructions, designing VR app for media literacy, media information literacy for youth with disabilities, and e-content generation programs.
She holds a Master’s in Women’s Studies from SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, where her dissertation focused on leadership through the feminist lens.
