Dr Chandan Kumar Jha
Assistant Professor, Finance, Madden School of Business, Le Moyne College, United States
Chandan Jha is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Madden School of Business at Le Moyne College. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Louisiana State University and M.A. in economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune. His research focuses on corruption, gender, and finance. His papers have been published in several economics and finance journals such as the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, the Journal of Population Economics, World Development, Economic Inquiry, the International Review of Economics and Finance, and the International Review of Finance, among others. Chandan is a fellow at the Global Labor Organization and currently serves as the Associate Editor of Studies in Microeconomics and SN Business and Economics.
Prof Sudipta Sarangi
Professor and Department Head, Economics, Virginia Tech, United States
Sudipta Sarangi is a Professor and the Department Head of Economics at Virginia Tech. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, he has been a Distinguished Professor of Business Administration at Louisiana State University and a Program Director at the National Science Foundation. His research interests range from network theory, experimental and behavioral economics to development economics. He is a research associate of DIW Berlin, GATE, University of Lyon-St. Etienne and the Lima School of Economics. He has been a consultant to organizations like the World Bank and FAO. He currently serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Public Economic Theory and Economic Modelling. His book the Economics of Small Things which explains economics using everyday phenomena was recently released by Penguin India.
