Mr. Venkatraman Ramakrishnan:

Mr. Venkatraman Ramakrishnan, a highly experienced professional, holds degrees in Engineering and Management, specializing in Mechanical Engineering, M Tech, and PGDBM. With a diverse career spanning machinery manufacturing, CNC machining, and global sectors, he has excelled in roles ranging from Production and Quality Management to Technical Sales and Marketing. Founding organisation Development Pte Ltd’ in Singapore in 1999, Mr. Ramakrishnan has been a consultant in Enterprise and Institutional Performance, contributing proprietary frameworks and copyrights to the field.
His expertise encompasses strategic management, risk analysis, financial analysis, market definition, and Leadership Development, with substantial contributions to books on Strategy, Corporate Governance, and Family Coaching. Accredited to various profiling tools, he has worked closely with boards and CEOs of large MNCs in the Asia Pacific on Director Assessment and Development. Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Ramakrishnan holds a patent for a Solar Hot Water Central Heating System, showcasing his interest in alternate energy. An avid wildlife photographer and organic gardener, he also teaches public policy at The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy since 2004, focusing on Institutional Performance Assessment & Management.

Prof. Mukul Asher:

Mukul G. Asher is a former Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore. He received his PhD in Economics from Washington State University in 1972. He was previously a Fellow at Takshashila. His research encompasses public financial management, including public-private partnerships (PPPs), social security reforms—specifically pensions and healthcare—in Asia, and the application of economic reasoning to public policies. Additionally, he has concentrated on fiscal reforms, India’s external economic policies, and pension reform in Asia. He has published extensively in national and international journals; and has authored or edited more than fifteen books.
Mr. Asher has been a consultant to the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Health Organization (WHO), ADB, OECD, and other institutions. He has led or participated in numerous Executive Development Programs for government officials at all levels. These include programs for the West Bengal, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Indian Railways and CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General of India), Indian Revenue Service, Russia, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brunei, and Bangladesh.
