The IMPRI Center for the Study of Finance and Economics (CSFE), IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi hosted an interactive panel discussion on the topic “The Amrit Kaal and Union Budget 2023-24” on 2 February 2023, under the IMPRI 3rd Annual Series of Thematic Deliberations and Analysis of Union Budget 2023-24, as part of IMPRI #WebPolicyTalk. The session was chaired and moderated by Prof Nilanjan Banik who is currently serving as a professor at Mahindra University, Hyderabad, and is also a Visiting Consultant at IMPRI.
Under the series, #Local Governance, #IMPRI Center for Habitat, Urban and Regional Studies (CHURS), IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi organized a #WebPolicyTalk, on the topic Breaking Down Bengaluru Floods on September 29, 2022. Inaugurating the session Ms Tripta Behera, a researcher at IMPRI welcomed the speakers for the session, Leo F. Saldanha, Coordinator and Founding Trustee, Environment Support Group (ESG), Bengaluru, and Bhargavi S Rao, Senior Fellow & Trustee, Environment Support Group (ESG), Bengaluru. The event was moderated by Tikender Singh Panwar, Former Deputy Mayor, Shimla; Visiting Senior Fellow, IMPRI, New Delhi.

#IMPRI Center for Environment, Climate Change, and Sustainable Development (CECCSD), IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi organized a distinguished lecture in collaboration with the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), the Ministry of Home Affairs on 28th October 2022. The deliberation was on the 15th Finance Commission and Disaster Risk Management, with Shri N. K. Singh, a Prominent Indian Economist, Academician and Policymaker, and the Chairman of the 15th Finance Commission of India being the speaker. The session was inaugurated by Ms Aanchal Karnani, a researcher at IMPRI by giving a brief introduction to the organizers and other guests.
The three-day immersive Online Certificate Training Programme on “Disaster Resilient Housing and Built Environment: Imperatives for Better Policy, Planning and Sustainable Cities”, organised by National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), Ministry of Home Affairs, and #IMPRI Center for Habitat, Urban and Regional Studies (CHURS), IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi, commenced on December 13th, 2022. Inaugurating the session Ms. Nayna Agarwal, Researcher at IMPRI, gave a brief background about the training course and welcomed the speakers and participants to the program with an introduction to the eminent panelists. The event was moderated by Shri Tikender Singh Panwar and Mr. Anil K. Gupta.
