Building a Planet-Friendly Economy

To throw light upon this issue, the Center for Environment, Climate Change and Sustainable Development (CECCSD), IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi, and India Water Portal organized an IMPRI Special Lecture – #WebPolicyTalk on Building a Planet-friendly Economy, by Dr. R Balasubramanium, a development activist and leadership trainer who founded the Grassroots Research and Advocacy Movement and the Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM).

Response to the Mental Health woes of India’s Youth- Prof. Prabha Chandra@IMPRI #WebPolicyTalk

The discussion began with Prof Chandra, Professor and Head of Psychiatry at NIMHANS, Bangalore, and the Chair of the session, talking about the importance of creating services that are youth-friendly. She emphasized the need to realize how to help the youth who are otherwise physically healthy and feel that they do not need to seek help. In an effort to Working Towards a Positive Transformation as a response to the Mental Health woes of India’s Youth.

Remembering Dr. Ambedkar

After 65 years of his demise, the point is how should we look at the life and ideas of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar(1891-1956)? How are we remembering Dr. Ambedkar? We usually uphold his thought in the making of the Indian Constitution. The familiar depiction of his image dressed in a western suit with his right hand raised and his left hand holding a copy of the Indian Constitution typically speaks of his profound scholarship and his authorship of the text of the Indian Constitution which he so meticulously drafted as the Chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Constituent Assembly of India.
