How to Read Financial Statements?

An online International Summer School Program on “Data, Monitoring and Evaluation” is a two-month immersive online hands-on certificate training course organised by IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi. Session 3 of Day 5 of the program was taken by Mr V. Rama Krishnan on "How to Read Financial Statements" (analysing income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements etc). Inaugurating the session Fiza Mahajan, a researcher at IMPRI, welcomed the speakers and participants to the program with an introduction to the eminent panellists.

The session was on “Monitoring and Evaluation in Practice &; Reporting &; The Statistical System in India and an Introduction to Various Official and Other Databases” by Dr Arjun Kumar, Director at IMPRI and Bhanvi, Researcher at IMPRI. Inaugurating the session Fiza Mahajan, a researcher at IMPRI, welcomed the speakers and participants to the program with an introduction to the eminent panellists.

An online International Summer School Program on “Data, Monitoring and Evaluation” is a two-month immersive online hands-on certificate training course organised by IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi. The session was on “Introduction and Critical Reflections on Forensic Health and Data”  by Prof Vina Vaswani. She is the Director, Centre for Ethics, and Professor, Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Yenepoya (Deemed to be) University, Mangalorean. Inaugurating the session Fiza Mahajan, a researcher at IMPRI, welcomed the speakers and participants to the program with an introduction to the eminent panellists. 

Hands-on Data Learning: Interpretation of Model using EVIEWS

An online International Summer School Program on “Data, Monitoring and Evaluation” is a two-month immersive online hands-on certificate training course organised by IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi. The day 3 of the program on June 17th, started with a session on “Hands-on Data Learning: Interpretation of Model using EVIEWS” by Prof Nilanjan Banik. Prof. Banik started with a recapitulation of the previous sessions, where distribution and density functions and their purpose were deliberated.

Research Ethics in Primary Data Collection and Analysis

An online International Summer School Program on “Data, Monitoring and Evaluation” is a two-month immersive online hands-on certificate training course organised by IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi. The day 3 of the program on June 17th, started with a session on “Research Ethics in Primary Data Collection and Analysis” by Dr. Amar Jesani. The session was opened with introductory and welcoming remarks from Fiza Mahajan and was further moderated by her.

Data Deluge and Public Policy: Promises and Perils

The second week of the program on June 10th, started with a session on 'Data Deluge & Public Policy: Promises and Perils' by Dr. Soumyadip Chattopadhyay. This session gave an insightful view of enhancing application of numerical literacy in Public Policy in India. The session was opened with introductory and welcoming remarks from Fiza Mahajan and was further moderated by her.

Hands-on Data Learning Session: Introduction to ANOVA

An online International Summer School Program on "Data, Monitoring and Evaluation" is a two-month immersive online hands-on certificate training course organized by IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi. After an insightful session on 'Data Deluge & Public Policy' in the second week of the program on June 10th, it is time for the 'Hands-on Data Learning Session'. The second speaker, Prof Nilanjan Banik, was welcomed by Fiza Mahajan, visiting researcher at IMPRI. This session is the continuation of the Hands-on Data Learning Session that started last week. Prof Banik started the discussion on the 'Introduction of ANOVA'.
