About

In today’s world, data has become an indispensable part of decision-making processes for individuals, organisations, and governments alike. Data-driven decision-making enables organisations to make informed decisions that are backed by solid evidence, thereby increasing the chances of achieving desired outcomes. Monitoring and evaluation, on the other hand, are critical components of the data management process. They involve tracking and assessing the progress of a project or program, and evaluating its effectiveness and impact.

A course on data, monitoring, and evaluation is therefore essential for anyone who wants to develop the skills and knowledge needed to manage data effectively and use it to inform decision-making. In this course, participants will learn how to collect, analyse, and interpret data using various tools and techniques. They will also learn how to monitor and evaluate projects and programs to ensure that they are on track and achieving their intended objectives. With these skills, participants will be better equipped to navigate the complex world of data management and make informed decisions that can drive positive change.

For whom

This timely course is for everyone who has a keen interest in data and coming of age policymaking. Working professionals, researchers, teaching faculty, civil society members, activists, interested learners, and post-graduate and undergraduate students, would benefit from this course.
