About
The Annual Oxford Public School-Model United Nations (OPS-MUN) Conference serves as a dynamic platform for students to engage deeply with the art of statecraft, diplomacy and global affairs on various global issues. The OPS-MUN Conferences are conducted according to the “formal rules of procedure”. By emulating the structure and processes of the United Nations, it seeks to cultivate a profound understanding of international relations and geopolitics among participants.
The 2nd OPS-MUN Conference, 2024, in collaboration with IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi, aims to engage participants through role-playing as delegates representing various countries to debate, negotiate resolutions, and foster a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of global climate action, promote empathy towards the plight of vulnerable communities, and encourage innovative solutions that bridge the gap between the developed and developing world.
