Urban Policy & City Planning is an online one-month online immersive certificate training course organised by Center for Habitat, Urban and Regional Studies at Impact and Policy Research Institute, IMPRI, New Delhi in the month of July 2023. An informative panel discussion on the topic “India’s Urban Development Schemes: Impact & Way Forward ” was held on July 05, 2023 by Dr. Deepak Sanan, Former IAS Officer and Ex-Additional Chief Secretary, Himachal Pradesh; Senior Visiting Fellow, Centre for Policy Research (CPR); Senior Advisor, Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS).

Violence Against Women and Response of Women’s Movements in India

An informative and elucidating online panel discussion on “Domestic Violence and Abuse: Challenges and Responses” was an initiative of the Gender Impact Studies Center (GISC), at the IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi held on December 19, 2022. The program included an insightful and enriching discussion delivered by eminent speakers, Advocate Gayatri Sharma, Prof Vijaylakshmi Brara, Dr Tara Nair, Adv Celin Thomas, Dr Keerthi Bollineni, and Anchita Ghatak. Prof Vibhuti Patel chaired the session. The session was opened with introductory and welcoming remarks from Professor Vibhuti Patel and was further moderated by her. On the first day, our second speaker, Professor Vibhuti Patel, Vice President, Indian Association for Women’s Studies, proceeded with the session by delivering a presentation on Violence Against Women and Response of Women’s Movements in India.

How to Read Financial Statements?

An online International Summer School Program on “Data, Monitoring and Evaluation” is a two-month immersive online hands-on certificate training course organised by IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi. Session 3 of Day 5 of the program was taken by Mr V. Rama Krishnan on "How to Read Financial Statements" (analysing income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements etc). Inaugurating the session Fiza Mahajan, a researcher at IMPRI, welcomed the speakers and participants to the program with an introduction to the eminent panellists.

The session was on “Monitoring and Evaluation in Practice &; Reporting &; The Statistical System in India and an Introduction to Various Official and Other Databases” by Dr Arjun Kumar, Director at IMPRI and Bhanvi, Researcher at IMPRI. Inaugurating the session Fiza Mahajan, a researcher at IMPRI, welcomed the speakers and participants to the program with an introduction to the eminent panellists.

She is the Director, Centre for Ethics, and Professor, Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Yenepoya (Deemed to be) University, Mangalorean.
