Population, Health and Union Budget 2023-24

The Centre for Human Dignity and Development (CHDD), Impact and Policy Research Institute (IMPRI), New Delhi, hosted an interactive panel discussion on the topic “Population, Health, and Union Budget 2023-24”, on January 3, 2023, under the IMPRI 3rd Annual Series of Thematic Deliberations and Analysis of Union Budget 2023-24, as part of IMPRI #WebPolicyTalk. The discussion was chaired and moderated by Dr. Devendra Singh, a professor at the University of Freiburg, Germany, and a Visiting Senior Fellow at Impact and Policy Research (IMPRI).

The Impact and Policy Research Institute (IMPRI), New Delhi’s #IMPRI Center for Work and Welfare (CWW), conducted an interactive panel discussion on the topic “Employment, Livelihoods and Union Budget 2023-24” on 4 February 2023, under the IMPRI’s 3rd Annual Series of Thematic Deliberations and Analysis of Union Budget 2023-24, as part of IMPRI #WebPolicyTalk. The discussion was chaired by Prof Suchita Krishnaprasad, Former Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Economics at Elphinstone College, Mumbai.

The #IMPRI Center for Habitat, Urban and Regional Studies (CHURS), IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi hosted an interactive panel discussion on the topic “Rural Realities and Union Budget 2023-24” on 3 February 2023, under the IMPRI 3rd Annual Series of Thematic Deliberations and Analysis of Union Budget 2023-24, as part of IMPRI #WebPolicyTalk. The session was chaired by Prof Sunil Ray, Former Director, A. N. Sinha Institute of Social Studies, Patna and Advisor, IMPRI.

Amrit Kaal and Union Budget 2023-24

The IMPRI Center for the Study of Finance and Economics (CSFE), IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi hosted an interactive panel discussion on the topic “The Amrit Kaal and Union Budget 2023-24” on 2 February 2023, under the IMPRI 3rd Annual Series of Thematic Deliberations and Analysis of Union Budget 2023-24, as part of IMPRI #WebPolicyTalk. The session was chaired and moderated by Prof Nilanjan Banik who is currently serving as a professor at Mahindra University, Hyderabad, and is also a Visiting Consultant at IMPRI.

Domestic Violence and Abuse: Challenges and Responses

An informative and elucidating online panel discussion on “Domestic Violence and Abuse: Challenges and Responses” was an initiative of the Gender Impact Studies Center (GISC), at the IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi held on December 19, 2022. The program included an insightful and enriching discussion delivered by eminent speakers, Advocate Gayatri Sharma, Prof Vijaylakshmi Brara, Dr Tara Nair, Adv Celin Thomas, Dr Keerthi Bollineni, and Anchita Ghatak. Prof Vibhuti Patel chaired the session. The session was opened with introductory and welcoming remarks from Professor Vibhuti Patel and was further moderated by her.

Reproductive and Conjugal Rights of Women in India

A Three-Day Immersive Online Legal Awareness and Certificate Training Course on “Reproductive and Conjugal Rights of Women in India” is an initiative of the Gender Impact Studies Center (GISC), at the IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi, and ran for three consecutive days starting from December 22, 2022 to December 24, 2022. The online paid certification was aimed to provide attendees with an enriching experience on the gender discourse with a special focus on women’s rights and the much-discussed reproductive rights in India. 

Breaking Down Bengaluru Floods

Under the series, #Local Governance, #IMPRI Center for Habitat, Urban and Regional Studies (CHURS), IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi organized a #WebPolicyTalk, on the topic Breaking Down Bengaluru Floods on September 29, 2022. Inaugurating the session Ms Tripta Behera, a researcher at IMPRI welcomed the speakers for the session, Leo F. Saldanha, Coordinator and Founding Trustee, Environment Support Group (ESG), Bengaluru, and Bhargavi S Rao, Senior Fellow & Trustee, Environment Support Group (ESG), Bengaluru. The event was moderated by Tikender Singh Panwar, Former Deputy Mayor, Shimla; Visiting Senior Fellow, IMPRI, New Delhi.
