The Gender Impact Studies Center (GISC) at the IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi, invites you to the third cohort of its acclaimed online national summer school certificate training course on Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Building on the success of the previous cohorts, this three-day immersive program brings together experts, scholars, and practitioners to examine the intersections of gender, health, law, and policy. Through interactive lectures and critical discussions, the course will explore vital issues such as maternal health, abortion laws, reproductive tract infections, menopause, assisted reproduction, and the systemic challenges and social taboos that shape women’s health outcomes.
At a time when conversations around bodily autonomy and reproductive rights remain urgent and contested, this program plays a crucial role in fostering awareness, dismantling stigma, and promoting inclusive, evidence-based approaches to healthcare. It provides a platform for learning and unlearning, empowering participants to engage with policy and practice through feminist and rights-based perspectives.
The program aims to equip participants with a nuanced understanding of how policy, medical practice, and societal norms intersect in shaping access to and quality of reproductive healthcare. With sessions led by leading experts, the course promises to foster critical thinking and informed advocacy among students, professionals, and changemakers committed to advancing gender and health equity.
