Dr. Manorama Bakshi is a seasoned Public Health and Development Professional with an illustrious 24+ years of career. Currently serves as the Director and Head of Healthcare and Advocacy at Consocia Advisory, and is also the founder and director of Trilok Raj Foundation (TRF). She has held pivotal roles in various influential organizations

During her tenure as a Senior Advisor at Tata Trusts, Dr. Bakshi played a significant role in building advocacy and partnerships. Her involvement in the India Consensus Project, a collaboration between Tata Trusts and Copenhagen Consensus Centre, facilitated discussions and analyses across diverse sectors such as health agriculture, nutrition, education, governance, water and sanitation.

Her expertise extends to strategic planning, partnerships, policy advocacy, and program management, notably in the public health domain. Her extensive experience includes serving as a Senior Technical Advisor with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. In this role, she contributed to the implementation of the Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A) Strategy across 184 high-priority districts in India, impacting around 300 million people.

Dr. Bakshi’s contributions in leadership positions, such as CEO of UVCT, an international NGO working on gender and adolescents, highlight her ability to spearhead growth and organizational development, significantly expanding resources and geographic reach.

Her involvement in various projects with UNDP, ILO, and USAID, particularly on HIV/AIDS mainstreaming, RMNCH+A workplace advisories, and tripartite responses, demonstrates her capacity to influence policy and effectively engage diverse stakeholders.

Notably, her publications and advocacy work in various newspapers and journals reflect her commitment to raising awareness and creating impactful policy guidelines, notably in HIV/AIDS policies for corporates and the hospitality sector.

Her multifaceted career spans not only her role as an Evaluation Specialist on various govt programs but also her leadership in shaping policy, managing partnerships, and advocating for critical health and social issues. Her ability to forge connections, drive stakeholder engagement, and focus on women’s leadership for sustainable development underscores her commitment to societal change and progress.
