Decolonizing Feminist Discourse: Exploring Postcolonial Feminism

IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, in collaboration with its Gender Impact Studies Center (GISC) conducted its second successful cohort of Feminism: Theory and Praxis between 23rd and 25th of January 2024. The goal of this program was to equip the participants with the analytical tools and vocabulary to understand the feminist movement ranging from its epistemology, its trajectory in history to its contemporary concerns and contentions.

The IMPRI Center for the Study of Finance and Economics (CSFE) and the Gender Impact Studies Center (GISC) recently organized an insightful panel discussion on the theme "Gender, Social Inclusion and Interim Union Budget 2024-25" and "General Election and Interim Union Budget 2024-25" as part of the IMPRI 4th Annual Series of Thematic Deliberations on Union Budget 2023-24. This virtual events, held on February 2, 2024, brought together prominent experts to delve into the implications of the interim budget on various facets of the Indian economy.

Impact Evaluation in Practice

The five-day online training course, "Impact Evaluation in Practice," organized by IMPRI (Impact and Policy Research Institute), kicked off with an enlightening session led by Mr. Rakesh Pandey. As a doctoral candidate at the Pardee RAND Graduate School and an assistant policy researcher at the RAND Corporation, USA, Mr. Pandey guided participants through Basic Statistics & Econometrics in Practice and Introduction to Impact Evaluation Methods. The course, conducted from December 18 to December 22, 2023, aimed to empower researchers, policymakers, and professionals in refining their skills for effective impact evaluation.
