Vahida Nainar is an independent researcher and has been working on gender issues for the past 25 years. Her PhD is a study on gender and reparation for conflict-related violence from the Advanced Centre of Women’s Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Vahida does research on Gender Equality, International Human Rights Law and Conflict. She has co-edited a book on ‘Pursuing Elusive Justice – Mass Crimes and Relevance of International Standard’ published by the Oxford University Press.
