Building Partnerships: Collaborative Approaches for a Coordinated Response to Gender Based Violence

The Gender Impact Studies Center (GISC) at IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi conducted a four week Online National Spring School Program on ‘Ending Gender-based Violence – Cohort 2: Awareness of Policies & Governance’ from March 5th, 2024 to March 27th 2024.

On day 7, our first speaker of the day Adv. Audrey D'Mello delivered a presentation on Building Partnerships: Collaborative Approaches for a Coordinated Response to Gender Based Violence.

Inclusive justice in the Indian Courts

A lack of Inclusive justice and perpetuated violence against women is a pervasive and multidimensional issue that demands a comprehensive response across multiple fronts which was discussed by the third speaker, Advocate Dr. Shalu Nigam emphasized, providing closure and psychological healing for survivors through neutral platforms is crucial, given the differential resources and access to justice for victims versus the accused in gender biased cases, which involve the deprivation of fundamental liberties on the 5th day of the "Ending Gender-Based Violence Cohort 2" online national spring school program organized by IMPRI and the Gender Impact Studies.

Unveiling Empowerment: Inspiring Women Voice

Gender Impact Studies Center, IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute hosted the Winter School Program on Young Women Leaders in Public Policy Fellowship.   The 9th Session of this course was conducted from 6th January to 8th March. The session was convened by Dr. Arjun Kumar, Simmi Mehata, Prof. Gumadi Srideviji, and Adv Dr. Shalu Nigam. The course is conducted by esteemed women pioneers from varied fields with special guidance to emerging young Women Leaders.
