The Monsoon Convection, Clouds, and Climate Change (MC4) scheme is one of seven sub-schemes that make up the Atmosphere & Climate Research-Modelling Observing Systems & Services (ACROSS) scheme. It was previously an autonomous sub-scheme, however it has now been integrated into the ACROSS scheme, which also includes two new sub-schemes, namely - the Physics and Dynamics of Tropical Clouds (PDTC) and the Centre for Climate Change Research.

National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme is a central sector scheme announced by the former Finance Minister, P Chidambaram, in the 2007-08 annual budget.
