PM Mitra, PLI and FTAs: Saviour for Ailing Indian Textile Industry?

As of 2023, the Indian textile and apparel industry makes significant contributions to various aspects of the economy. It contributes 4% to global trade in textiles and apparel, making it a crucial player in the international market. In terms of GDP, it accounts for approximately 2%, which amounts to around $70 billion. Additionally, the industry's output represents 7% of the total industry value.

Analyzing the Impact of Feminist Foreign Policy in India: A Critical Perspective on South Asia

The first instance of Feminist Foreign Policy (FFP) was recorded when Dr. Hansa Mehta, as the Indian delegate to the United Nations Human Rights Commission (1947-1948) courageously convinced the world leaders to make amendments to Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights from "All men are born free and equal" to "All human beings are born free and equal".

An online International Summer School Program on "Data, Monitoring and Evaluation" is a two-month immersive online hands-on certificate training course organized by IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi. The second week of the program on June 10th, started with a session on 'Data Deluge & Public Policy: Promises and Perils' by Dr. Soumyadip Chattopadhyay. This session gave an insightful view of enhancing application of numerical literacy in Public Policy in India. The session was opened with introductory and welcoming remarks from Fiza Mahajan and was further moderated by her.

Hands-on Data Learning Session: Introduction to ANOVA

An online International Summer School Program on "Data, Monitoring and Evaluation" is a two-month immersive online hands-on certificate training course organized by IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi. After an insightful session on 'Data Deluge & Public Policy' in the second week of the program on June 10th, it is time for the 'Hands-on Data Learning Session'. The second speaker, Prof Nilanjan Banik, was welcomed by Fiza Mahajan, visiting researcher at IMPRI. This session is the continuation of the Hands-on Data Learning Session that started last week. Prof Banik started the discussion on the 'Introduction of ANOVA'.
