As Iran celebrated its 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Republic two things have not abated one is the spate of Western sanctions on Iran and the second is the mutually assured destruction syndrome with Israel. Low-intensity, clandestine attacks on strategic assets and grey zone warfare have continued apace by both sides. But rhetoric is no longer being expressed in words alone. The threat of increasing wider conflagration in the region is becoming real.

Streamlining Labour Regulations: Assessing the Impacts of India’s Code on Wages Act

The New Wage Code or The Code on Wages was introduced in Lok Sabha by the Ministry of Labour and Employment as one of the four labour codes which are intended to subsume the multitude of pre-existing Labor laws. In 2002, The Second National Commission of Labour submitted its report in which it talked about the multiplicity of labour laws in India and recommended the codification of multiple central level labour laws in 4 to 5 groups.

Unveiling Empowerment: Inspiring Women Voice

Gender Impact Studies Center, IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute hosted the Winter School Program on Young Women Leaders in Public Policy Fellowship.   The 9th Session of this course was conducted from 6th January to 8th March. The session was convened by Dr. Arjun Kumar, Simmi Mehata, Prof. Gumadi Srideviji, and Adv Dr. Shalu Nigam. The course is conducted by esteemed women pioneers from varied fields with special guidance to emerging young Women Leaders.
