Diving Deep into Data for Policy Insight

On the third day our first speaker, Prof Nilanjan Banik, Professor and Program Director (BA, Economics and Finance), Mahindra University, Hyderabad; Visiting Consultant, IMPRI, commenced with an exploration of the fundamental question: why engage in data analysis? The discussion delved into the significance of two-sample and one-sample analyses and emphasized the importance of choosing an appropriate outcome variable based on the research objective.

IMPRI Centre for Human Dignity and Development, IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi, conducted Law and Public Policy Youth Fellowship – Cohort 2.0 Winter’23 on the theme: Promoting Human Rights and Ending Gender-Based Violence. The session was held on the Occasion of Human Rights Day. On Day 2 of the course, our third speaker Professor Ceena Paul, Professor, Department of Economics, M.D. Shah College for Women, Mumbai, covered an intellectually invigorating experience, immersing participants in a comprehensive exploration of the art and science of crafting a research article.
