Launched on 4 March 2024 during DefConnect 2024, the ADITI Scheme (“Acing Development of Innovative Technologies with iDEX”) is part of the Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) framework under India’s Department of Defence Production.
Air Traffic Management (ATM) includes coordination of air traffic and the airspace in air traffic control (ATC), airspace management (ASM), air traffic flow management (ATFM). The major purpose of ATM is to secure the effective and safe flow of the aircraft between departure and arrival. As world air travel continues to expand, ATM systems in place are getting overburdened, which requires a big modernization process and international cooperation.

As the global demand for AI-related skills is rising, SOAR aims to create a future-ready generation equipped with technical knowledge and ethical and societal understanding required to navigate AI-driven transformation. This programme is part of a larger mission under Skill India, celebrating its 10th anniversary alongside the launch. The world is witnessing the revolution led by technological advancement, machine learning, AI, data analytics and automation. Unfortunately, Access to AI education in India has remained limited to higher education and elite institutions. The SOAR Programme breaks the barrier by introducing these subjects to classes of 6 to 12, including less resourceful schools, and by ensuring teachers are trained to deliver the subject. It aspires to build the largest AI-ready school population in the world, as declared by the Union Minister, Jayant Chaudhary.
The Biotechnology Career Advancement and Re-orientation (BioCARe) Programme is a targeted initiative by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. The programme started with an objective to enhance the presence of female researchers in Biotechnology and allied areas in the country. BioCare provides sanctioned extramural research funding to unemployed female researchers.
The Biotechnology Industrial Training Programme (BITP), launched by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) in 1993-94, is a structured, six months industrial training initiative for recent graduates in biotechnology (B.E./B.Tech, M.Sc/ M.Tech, MBA). Administered by DBT-HRD Project Management Unit at RCB Faridabad and executed by Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL)
