Raising And Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme 2022

The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector is the backbone of the Indian economy, contributing around 30% to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). According to the Ministry of MSME, India is home to over 58 million MSMEs, which collectively generate approximately 120 million jobs. This makes MSMEs the second-largest employment provider in India, second only to the agriculture sector.

AI PREPAREDNESS INDEX 2024

The International Monetary Fund recently developed the AI Preparedness Index to evaluate the level of AI readiness in various organizations. This index assesses AI preparedness in 174 countries by examining factors like digital infrastructure, human capital and labor market policies, innovation and economic integration, as well as regulation and ethics.

Strategic Intervention for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Programme

The Strategic Intervention for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Programme is designed to incentivize the supply side of green hydrogen production through financial incentives aimed at the domestic manufacturing of electrolyzers and green hydrogen production. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), through the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), is tasked with implementing this scheme.
