IFSCA and GIFT City: Shaping India’s Place in Global Finance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s words capture this intent clearly when he described GIFT City as a zone designed to serve not just India, but the world.

National Scholarship Portal, 2016

National Scholarship Portal is an initiative by the Government of India under the Digital India initiative and national e-governance plan in 2016  to provide a one-stop solution for students to apply, receive, and disburse various scholarships through the portal easily and effectively. It was developed by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.

Bridging the Literacy Gap (2020-2021): India’s Padhna Likhna Abhiyan and Adult Education Challenges

Intending to eradicate illiteracy, a centrally sponsored scheme of adult education is “Padhan Likhna Abhiyan,” was implemented during 2020-21. It emphasizes imparting functional literacy to 57 lakh adult illiterates in the age group of 15 and above. The scheme was extended up to 31 July 2021.

Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) initiated the "Programme on Energy from Urban, Industrial, and Agricultural Wastes and Residues" under Phase-I of the National Bioenergy Programme (2021–2026). This initiative is more than just waste management; it implies a mindful transition towards a circular economy by leveraging the practice of waste converted into renewable energy sources, minimizing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and encouraging decentralized clean energy systems.
