Dr. Khalid Khan has more than seven years of Post Ph.D. research experience that spans over areas of education economics, labour economics, inequality, identity economics and public policy. He has experience of handling research projects sponsored by Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR), Government of Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, Ford Foundation, Rosa Luxemberg Stiftung Foundation (RLS), Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) etc. His research articles have appeared in reputed national and international journals. His expertise lies in handling large scale primary and secondary data using advanced econometric methods. He has written opinion pieces in reputed national dailies such as Indian Express, Times of India, Tehelka and The pioneer. His views have appeared in online news platforms such as BBC, The quint, The Wire, Deccan Herald, Mint, News18.
His professional association spans in different capacities across reputed institutions such as Symbiosis Law School (Noida), Indian Institute of Dalit Studies (New Delhi), Oxfam India, Institute of Economic Growth, Giri Institute of Development Studies, India Development Foundation, Kirorimal College and OP Jindal Global University. He has teaching experience in Economics, Statistics and Research Methodology at graduate and post graduate levels.
